[00:00:37] These 10 goals will help you grow your business and move forward by focusing your attention on multiple aspects of your business.
[00:00:44] Ideally, these should be set for a 90-day or 3-month time frame.
[00:00:48] 3 months may seem short, but you need that early deadline to give you an extra push in the right direction.
[00:00:54] Short-term goals are ideal for making progress.
[00:00:57] Anything longer and it will seem too far away.
[00:01:00] Shorter and it is difficult to make enough progress.
[00:01:03] 1. Appreciate those around you.
[00:01:06] Your business is more than your brand.
[00:01:08] It's the people who work with you and for you every day to make it better and push it forward.
[00:01:12] You need to recognize these people and give them the credit they deserve.
[00:01:16] Make the people connected to your brand feel amazing and reward them.
[00:01:20] Let them know that without them, you and the brand wouldn't be where they are today.
[00:01:25] 2. Invest in something that scares you.
[00:01:29] Your business won't grow unless you keep moving forward, which includes trying that new seminar, software, or website you've been putting off.
[00:01:36] Be specific here and answer the question, what do you need to make money?
[00:01:41] You have to invest in your business if you want it to grow, so now's the time to make that upgrade.
[00:01:46] 3. Schedule 3 hours of implementation.
[00:01:50] Every week for the next 90 days, you need to schedule 3 hours where you focus on implementing those things you've learned but haven't tried.
[00:01:58] If you're like me, you're constantly learning and have really great ideas but no time to try and put them into the business.
[00:02:05] Now's the time.
[00:02:06] Whether you learned it from a podcast, seminar, or video, you need to put it into the business and implement it, or else it's going to go to waste.
[00:02:14] 4. Do one thing weekly for your significant other.
[00:02:18] Each week of the next 90 days, you should do one thing that makes your significant other feel significant.
[00:02:24] This can be your spouse, partner, brother, or best friend.
[00:02:28] Whoever matters most to you is the person you need to be showing some love towards.
[00:02:32] Once a week, make them feel significant and show them how much they mean to you from a date night or dinner to a card or letter.
[00:02:39] People give their all when they feel significant, so take some time to do just that.
[00:02:45] 5. Commit to one thing that really pushes your business.
[00:02:49] If you could make money with only one activity in your business, what would that be?
[00:02:53] This is the thing you need to be focusing on here.
[00:02:57] For me, it's making educational videos.
[00:02:59] I do so many things from Instagram to Facebook, but if I had to choose one thing that makes the business money and pushes us forward, it's videos.
[00:03:07] What is that one thing for you?
[00:03:10] Set a goal to spend a specific number of hours on this thing.
[00:03:14] An example would be one hour per day on video teaching.
[00:03:18] 6. Give up something.
[00:03:20] What I mean here is give up one thing that you know you're spending too much time on.
[00:03:24] You don't have to give it up completely, but you should at least cut back.
[00:03:28] A big one is checking or answering email.
[00:03:31] This can take hours, but isn't really productive for your business.
[00:03:34] Think about where you spend your time and try to either delegate that task or cut back and focus on something that pushes your business forward.
[00:03:42] 7. Set a weekly fitness goal.
[00:03:45] Having a fitness goal that is not weight-related will be a great outlet to clear your mind and get you away from the business.
[00:03:51] I find that working out once a day helps make me more productive, confident, creative, think clearer, and have more energy.
[00:03:58] Set a very specific and measurable goal here, which can be something like 30 minutes at the gym six times a week.
[00:04:04] Just make sure it has nothing to do with weight.
[00:04:07] This goal is to help you de-stress and refocus, not worry about the scale and your progress.
[00:04:13] 8. Set a weekly goal of restoration.
[00:04:17] Along with a weekly fitness goal, a weekly goal of restoration will help you relax and de-stress from a busy work week.
[00:04:24] Restoration goals could be sleeping in, getting to a yoga class, or getting a massage.
[00:04:28] Anything that brings you joy and is a way to take care of yourself is a good goal.
[00:04:33] 9. Schedule a mastermind.
[00:04:36] When I say mastermind, I mean get together with other business people and share these goals with them.
[00:04:41] Getting together with a small group of people will create a support group and will also hold you accountable to your goals.
[00:04:47] These people don't have to be in your industry.
[00:04:50] People in different industries may bring great ideas from their area into yours.
[00:04:54] Invite people who want to get things done, movers and pushers, not people who need your help to get where you are now.
[00:05:01] 10. Set an earnings goal.
[00:05:04] Lastly, set an earnings goal for these 90 days.
[00:05:07] This goal should make you nervous because if you're nervous, then you work harder.
[00:05:11] This goal is here to make you push even harder to accomplish things.
[00:05:15] It doesn't have to be outrageous.
[00:05:16] Make sure it's attainable, but only if you put in 110%.
