[00:00:57] The ability to believe in yourself can change your life. Just think, what difference would it make in your life if you had an absolutely unshakable confidence in your ability to achieve anything you really put your mind to?
[00:01:10] What would you want and wish and hope for?
[00:01:13] What would you dare to dream if you believed in yourself with such deep conviction that you had no fears of failure whatsoever?
[00:01:21] How to Believe in Yourself?
[00:01:23] Most people start off with little or low self-confidence, but as a result of their own efforts, they become bold and brave and outgoing.
[00:01:31] And we've discovered that if you do the same things that other self-confident men and women do,
[00:01:35] you too will experience the same feelings and get the same results.
[00:01:39] The key is to be true to yourself, to be true to the very best that is in you,
[00:01:44] and to live your life consistent with your highest values and aspirations.
[00:01:48] This is the only way to truly learn how to believe in yourself.
[00:01:52] Take some time to think about who you are and what you believe in and what is important to you.
[00:01:57] If you want to change your life by becoming an author, believe that you can do it.
[00:02:02] The hardest step in that journey is finding the confidence to learn how to write a book.
[00:02:06] Once you get a hold of a proven system to plan, produce, and publish your work,
[00:02:10] the larger goal becomes easier to attain.
[00:02:13] By believing in yourself, you'll find the courage to take immediate action on your goals.
[00:02:17] And this, as you may know, is the key to success.
[00:02:21] I encourage you to never compromise your integrity by trying to be or say or feel something that is not true for you.
[00:02:28] And more importantly, never compromise your potential to grow due to self-limiting doubts.
[00:02:34] Instead, embrace your confidence and believe in yourself because you really can do anything you put your mind to.
[00:02:41] Tell yourself you have confidence and believe it.
[00:02:44] Repeat affirmations such as, I believe in myself, every day.
[00:02:48] Your thoughts become words and your words become your actions.
[00:02:51] If you continue to tell yourself that you believe in yourself, eventually you really will believe in yourself.
[00:02:57] It's that simple.
[00:02:58] Have the courage to accept yourself as you really are, not as you might be or as someone else thinks you should be.
[00:03:04] And know that, taking everything into consideration, you are a pretty good person.
[00:03:08] After all, we all have our own talents, skills, and abilities that make us extraordinary.
[00:03:14] No one, including yourself, has any idea of your capabilities or of what you might ultimately do or become.
[00:03:21] Perhaps the hardest thing to do in life is to accept how extraordinary you really can be,
[00:03:25] believe in yourself, and then to incorporate this awareness into your attitude and personality.
[00:03:31] Understanding the five levels of personality.
[00:03:34] You can imagine your personality by thinking of a target with concentric rings.
[00:03:39] Your personality is made up of five rings, starting from the center with your values
[00:03:43] and radiating outward to the next circle, your beliefs and values in life.
[00:03:48] Number one, believe in yourself.
[00:03:50] Your values in life determine your beliefs about yourself and the world around you.
[00:03:55] If you have positive values, such as love, compassion, and generosity,
[00:03:59] you will believe that people in your world are deserving of these values and you will treat them accordingly.
[00:04:05] When you believe in yourself and choose to be a good person,
[00:04:08] you'll find yourself to be more positive and successful in life.
[00:04:11] Number two, set expectations and know your values in life.
[00:04:16] Your beliefs, in turn, determine the third ring of your personality, your expectations.
[00:04:21] If you have positive values, you will believe yourself to be a good person.
[00:04:25] If you believe in yourself to be a good person, you will expect good things to happen to you.
[00:04:29] If you expect good things to happen to you, you will be positive, cheerful, and future-oriented.
[00:04:35] You will look for the good in other people and situations.
[00:04:38] Number three, attitude.
[00:04:40] Expect good things to happen.
[00:04:42] The fourth level of your personality determined by your expectations is your attitude.
[00:04:47] Your attitude will be an outward manifestation or reflection of your values, beliefs, and expectations.
[00:04:53] For example, if your value is that this is a good world to live in,
[00:04:58] and your belief is that you are going to be very successful in life,
[00:05:01] you will expect that everything that happens to you is helping you in some way.
[00:05:05] As a result, you'll have a positive mental attitude toward other people,
[00:05:09] and they will respond positively toward you.
[00:05:11] You'll be a more cheerful and optimistic person.
[00:05:14] You'll be someone who others want to work with and for,
[00:05:17] buy from and sell to,
[00:05:19] and generally help to be more successful.
[00:05:22] Number four, be a good person through your actions.
[00:05:25] The fifth ring or level of life is your actions.
[00:05:29] Your actions on the outside will ultimately be a reflection of your innermost values,
[00:05:34] beliefs, and expectations on the inside.
[00:05:37] This is why what you achieve in life and work will be determined more by what is going on inside of you
[00:05:42] rather than by any other factor.
[00:05:45] And number five, action exercise.
[00:05:48] Make a list of your three to five most important values in life today.
[00:05:52] What do you really believe in and stand for?
[00:05:55] What are your values in life?
[00:05:56] What qualities are you best known for among the people who know you?
[00:06:00] What do you consider the most important values guiding your relationships with others in your life?
