Every single ketogenic resource will tell you that being on a ketogenic diet, once adapted to it ( a few days for some but a few weeks to a month for others) will thereafter basically make you bonk-proof. I think you should read a few articles or books by Volek and Phinney to find out a bit more about the science behind ketogenic diets before you continue publishing about them. After listening to your last three articles I found there to be very little useful content and most of it seems very much contrary to my own experience. Your other podcasts are great but not this low carb series in my opinion.
I agree with your comment that one should find a diet that fits best for one’s health and lifestyle, but if one tried ketosis then just be aware that you need a short period to get adapted to burning fat (and not eating heavy carbs) and that you also need extra sea salt.
Thank you for all the comments, Todd! It’s good to hear another take on it. We read multiple sides to the story from different experts in their field. This one came from Ben Greenfield, and I’d recommend checking out his original article here. He accepts comments there and often replies, so and since he wrote these articles, it’d be best to get your comments in front of him, too! Thanks again for listening and sharing your thoughts.
