Really disappointed in your answer to this one. There is sooo much research on the benefits of fasting now and specifically intermittent fasting like the lady was referring to. Read Dr. Jason Fung’s new book “The Complete Guide to Fasting”. Pages and pages of research backing up every claim. Did you just look for some studies to back up the conventional wisdom? Because most of the other conventional wisdom they’ve been telling us for the last 30-40 years is now being proven completely wrong, i.e the low fat diet we were told to follow for decades for weight loss has our country at record obesity rates. I could go on and on. You could have at least taken a balanced approach and shared the benefits people fasting Think they’re getting to motivate them to do it, but no you completely glossed over any explanation whatsoever for that side.
